Tot School - The Letter R and S

Tot School

~ E is 35 months old~

We are back! Yeah! We went on three trips in the span of a month. All the packing, unpacking, and adjusting to being home threw me off and unable to put much energy into Tot School this past month. We had a great week this week working on the letter S. I've included a few updates/pictures from when we worked on R a few weeks ago. We actually worked on S for several weeks in between trips and again with real focus this past week.

Not pictured are the videos we watched about snakes and seals and the books we read about snakes and sharks.

Coloring S and stars

Using Scissors... practicing cutting on a line

Shoes and Socks, we talked about and practiced putting on his shoes by himself

 Sliding... he loves slides

Using a screwdriving, helping Daddy

Steering Wheel...he insists on "two hands"

 Seesaw with Daddy
 Swing... helping sister swing

Stickers... placing them inside the S

This is from our R week... he drew a rainbow on his own... unprompted :)

Painting a Snowman... it quickly turned into a blizzard instead of a snowman, but he started out with the S idea.

Sand table

Rainbow, we practiced patterns and color recognition with this activity.
