We had a very successful first week with our new homeschooling schedule. Lil E adjusted much better than I anticipated. She joyfully went to her drawers to find her special activities. She even did better with them than I expected her to do. I think she likes doing "school" and being like her big brother.
Big E was very patient with her and enjoyed doing some of her activities himself. By having them do some of the same work it will help reinforce some of the concepts to Big E and serve as an example to Lil E about what to do. Big E really enjoyed the Sonlight Curriculum. He loved the books we read and did well with the K Readers.
There were many other unexpected successes, such as, they both enjoyed the crafts we had planned. Then there were the times when I needed to work with one separately from the other, and for the most part they were patient about that.
