Back to School

We have been back into the full school routine once again.  We've chosen to continue to homeschool Big E and Lil E this year.  Big E is now in Kindergarten.  Lil E is now in Pre-K 3.

First Day of School

Gluing Macaroni on "m"

The first two weeks have gone super great so far!  Big E is excelling at his new Kindergarten curriculum.  He is excited about his new readers, handwriting book, and read-alouds. He seems to really enjoy the greater school responsibilities and isn't upset that he and Lil E are working on different materials.

Sorting M&Ms

Lil E excitedly looks into her drawers each day and completes her work.  She loves that at least one of our read-aloud books is specifically for her.  She has eagerly learned and performed her memory verse and is attentive for most of our school day.
Focused on his numbers book

D has been doing pretty well.  He usually plays independently, which enables me to focus on the other two.  When he starts to get fussy it usually means it is time for his nap.  So, he naps while we finish up.

Of course, we have had a few moments of difficulty.  But for the most part things are going well.  I am still very happy with the curriculum we are using.  I am so thankful that the prep time on my end is very low for both children this year.
